The Cedi Bead collection originates from a small, remote workshop in Krobo, eastern Ghana, tucked away on an unpaved road.
Beads have a long history in this country and are made by artisans from recycled glass bottles; a meticulous and precise process.
This collection is a triple impact model. Social and economic impact: vulnerable communities are empowered. Environmental impact: glass is recycled as a raw material; crushing it manually with a mortar and using wood-fired ovens. A complex process from start to finish.
Each product is unique and unrepeatable.
